Sweet selections span from “penny candy” to novelty vintage candy to a vast cache of home made pastries, candies and treats.

The Name
Have you ever been called a skinnie piggy? With an incredibleappetite and no signs of weight gain that is what one of the owners Grandmothers called him and it stuck. Not only is it a nickname it is the size of the pastries, “skinnie” being a smaller size and “piggy” filling the needs of a larger sweet tooth.

The Location
Skinnie Piggy is currently filling a void on Taylor Street in Chicago’s Little Italy neighborhood where cupcakes are flying off the shelves. The spectrum of clientele ranges from neighborhood kids to kids at heart to full-fledged foodies. Skinnie Piggy is positioned to meet the sweet demands of a variety of great Chicago neighborhoods.
